DevOps Engineer

WHAT WE EXPECT

Holding a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
1-2 years of software support, reliability, or operations engineering experience
Experience with Linux/Unix Operating systems
Good knowledge of Networking technologies – TCP/IP stack, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Proxies
Experience with cloud architecture and security on AWS / GCP
Experience with Virtualization and Container Technologies and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, KVM, OpenStack)
Experience with Automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, Terraform, Ansible, Runbooks
Knowledge of CI/CD Tools (Argo CD, ARGO Workflows, Argo Events or similar)
Experience with observability Tools (ELK, Prometheus)
Experience in Bash, Python scripting

RESPONSIBILITIES

Automate deployments of Infrastructure and applications
Improve deployment observability
Establish visibility into the capacity and performance of the application
Improve and maintain uptime and performance
Automate incident response, day-to-day tasks, software self-healing to eliminate toil
Continues product improvement (deployment, infrastructure, monitoring)
Work with development teams
